Observation of flora and fauna by an easy shaded
walk. Meet Sunday 2 PM at SGL 211 west parking lot
adjacent to old railroad bed off Gold Mine Road.

Memorial Lake and Second Mountain
Observation (in conjunction with the Lancaster
County Bird Club) of late migrant birds. Bring lunch
and a chair for the hawk watch. Meet Saturday 7 AM
along Rt. 934 just north of I-81.

Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Golden Eagle Day
Observation of migrating hawks at lookouts (there is
a $7 trail fee) and songbirds at the visitor center (as
well as a live golden eagle). Meet Saturday 8:30 AM
at SW section of Weis Market parking lot, east of
Lebanon.

December 17, 2011– Christmas Bird Count
QAS thirty-second annual. Event includes walking
and driving to count birds within prescribed area.
